I had the pleasure of arranging Stan's trip with Lou Killen re TALL SHIPS 1976

They performed individually at various locations in Bermuda through the Bermuda Folk Club...I was on the committee and worked closely with them..

All the correspondence/photographs etc are back in England...I moved to California in 1998...but am hoping to come over in May for the Cleethorpes Folk Festival...my local...and I could find some stuff if you're interested....

 From what I understand, Stan's career took off after he was 'discovered' during the Tri-centenial celebrations in NY....( the end of the trip I organised) and was subsequently published by McGraw Hill.....that  wonderful book with the great illustrations....there seemed to be no stopping him after that...
